MEET SHARI HARBINGER

A Legacy of Education

In 1996, Shari partnered with the Devachan co-founders to help build the DevaCurl brand, including its salons, products, signature techniques, and education.

In 2004, they co-founded the DevaCurl Academy, where Shari spent 15 years leading the evolution of its education programs, with a focus on teaching, curriculum design, and educator development.

Her work helped turn specialized expertise in cutting, coloring, and styling natural texture into a teachable system that supported the growth of professionals and the brand.

A Born creative leader

Since she could remember, Shari Harbinger has been creating and transforming anything she could get her hands on.

Her career began behind the chair and grew into more than three decades of education, leadership, and brand building.

After joining Clairol in 1987, she learned firsthand how education could drive sales while helping stylists grow their skills, confidence, and careers.

For over a decade, Shari worked at top NYC salons and led education for The Paramount Distributorship, training for Schwarzkopf USA, Bain de Terre, Nioxin, and other leading brands.

Today, she brings that experience and her ability to see what others often miss to beauty professionals, founders, and organizations ready to strengthen their work and grow what they’ve built.

A House is Built

Through decades of building education, developing people, and working across beauty, business, and professional development, Shari saw the same challenge appear again and again: strong expertise does not always translate into work others can understand, use, and build from.

House of Harbinger was created to help close that gap. The work brings together education, strategy, communication, professional development, and the systems that help expertise become clearer, stronger, and more transferable.

Today, House of Harbinger works with beauty professionals, salon teams, founders, and organizations to strengthen what they already know, give it structure, and turn it into work that performs more consistently and holds up over time.
